Alumni of Merit Nomination

The Alumni of Merit Award is the highest honor the Alumni Association bestows on an alumnus of MVCC. It is presented annually to a nominee who has contributed to the improvement of the community, helped the College, and otherwise demonstrated professional leadership that symbolizes MVCC’s mission of student success and community involvement.

Criteria

This award is given to alumni who have:

Achieved distinction in their chosen field or
Rendered outstanding service to their community or
Rendered outstanding service to and demonstrated loyal interest in MVCC.

Members of the Board of Trustees and MVCC Alumni Association’s Board of Directors are eligible after the conclusion of their term. Candidates are chosen at the discretion of the MVCC President, Executive Director of Institutional Advancement and the MVCC Foundation, Inc., and President of the MVCC Alumni Association’s Board of Directors.
