Send your official High School transcript and certificate of graduation to MVCC. If they are not in English, please send an official translation to:

*A scanned copy of your high school documents can be sent to int_admissions@mvcc.edu, but an MVCC staff member will need to review the original official document by either mail or reviewed in-person at Orientation.

For non-native English speakers - confirm English level to determine if you are ready for academic classes or need ESOL Language training.

  1. Students who have any of the following test scores will be accepted into academic course work:
    TOEFL PBT: 500
    Computer-based TOEFL: 173
    TOEFL iBT: 61
    IELTS: 5.5
    iTEP: 3.4
  2. If you do not want to take one of these, you can be either accepted into MVCC as an ESOL student OR you can take the placement test online - you will just need a webcam. Please let us know if you would like this option and we will send you a voucher code to set up a date/time to take the test. There will be a $25.00 USD cost for this test.

Math Placement Testing: This is a required online test, and you will just need a webcam. This can be completed at the same time as our English placement test (if needed). We will send you a voucher code to set up a date/time to take the test. There is a $25.00 USD cost.

Complete the financial sponsor form and submit an accompanying bank statement to show that your sponsor(s) able to pay for at least one year of you studying and living in the U.S. Here is the cost and fees for one academic year: Costs and Fees for International Students

Submit Health Immunization Records (MMR), a scanned copy is acceptable: Health Information Form
