What is eduroam?

As described on eduroam.org, “eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community.” Through MVCC’s affiliation with eduroam, MVCC students can connect to the eduroam wireless network at participating institutions, worldwide, simply by logging in with your MVCC email address and password. Students from participating institutions can also connect to eduroam at MVCC.

What access is provided?

eduroam provides basic internet access only.  

How do I connect to eduroam?

1. Browse for available wireless networks on your device.

2. Select Eduroam.

3. Log in with the username and password given to you by your institution.

MVCC students accessing Eduroam at another institution would use their MVCC email address and accompanying password.
