Stranded Motorist:

The Department of Public Safety responds to reports of stranded motorists on campus properties. 

If your vehicle battery dies, call the non emergency line to request a jump-start. Our patrol vehicles are equipped with jump pack kits to aid in this effort.

When calling, please have ready as much information as you can, including where your vehicle is located, as well as its make, model, and color. 

There are no fees associated with this service. You will be required to fill out a liability release form prior to any service being completed.

The Department of Public Safety will not perform other roadside services, such as changing a flat tire. For other vehicle issues, the Department may assist you in contacting an appropriate outside service, such as AAA or a local towing company at your request.
