Student drawing a male figure

Program information

Turn your creative skills into a career! Our Illustration program will provide you with the creative, traditional, and technical skills required for creating sequential art, editorial illustration, and character design, preparing you for freelance opportunities or transfer to a bachelor’s program.

The curriculum begins with a focus on the foundational techniques of observational drawing in addition to courses in digital painting and figure illustration. In the second year, you will deepen your expertise by applying techniques to storyboarding, graphic novels, and book illustration through capstone projects and portfolio development.

The Illustration curriculum is designed for students aiming for careers in character design, sequential art publication, editorial illustration, and storyboard art.
