Cost of Airframe and Powerplant Technology

Students interested in MVCC's Airframe and Powerplant Technology Program may apply for financial aid and scholarships. Because MVCC’s program fully equips successful students for a specialized career in just one year, it has costs that are not traditionally associated with the low tuition of a community college. That said, the community college format provides a remarkable value for students interested in FAA certification.

Financial Aid and MVCC Scholarships

Students seeking financial aid or scholarships should first complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), to determine eligibility. MVCC’s Financial Aid office is located on the Utica Campus in Payne Hall (315-792-5415), and on the Rome Campus in the Plumley Complex (315-334-7709).

The MVCC Foundation provides funding for students of MVCC through various scholarships. General scholarships can be found at MVCC General Scholarships. Program-specific scholarships for students in the Airframe and Powerplant Technology program can be found at MVCC STEM Scholarships. Each scholarship listing includes a link to the scholarship application form or students can pick-up hard copy scholarship application forms from the Foundation Office in Payne Hall room 220 on the Utica Campus.
