Accessing Your Account and Courses

All registered students will have a computer account after the first week of classes. Here is how you access yours:

  • Your username: Your full MVCC email address
  • Your password: Last four digits of your Social Security Number.

To access your student drive from home, go to ftp://student-serv.mvcc.edu/ and log in using your account credentials.

Student Email Account and Brightspace

All registered students also are assigned an email account and Brightspace account after the first week of classes. You should use your student email for all matters associated with the College. You can access your student email account through Microsoft Outlook Web Client https://outlook.office.com.

  • Username: Same as your computer account.
  • Password: Same as your computer account.
  • Your email address: your username followed by @student.mvcc.edu.
  • So John Doe’s email address would be: jdoe05@student.mvcc.edu.
