Inspiring Futures
Student Support Funding
MVCC students work hard. They work to succeed in their classes, and they work to make their college education possible, in hopes of creating a better life for themselves and their families. Many MVCC students grew up in humble circumstances, and many are the first in their families to go to college.
The MVCC Foundation works directly with offices across the College to provide options and much-needed support to our students. The Foundation has multiple funds to help students overcome financial barriers to education so they can complete their studies and graduate.
"In the middle of my semester I became homeless. It meant the world to me that C3 was right on it. Michelle from C3 was emailing me all day. I could tell that she made me her top priority. Now, I can move forward with my second semester knowing that C3 has my back no matter what."

C3 Program
C3 is The College-Community Connection, which partners with local agencies to assist students facing barriers outside of the classroom, like homelessness, food insecurity, and transportation, so they can focus on completing their academic goals.
Completion Scholarship
The Completion Scholarship makes it possible for students who have maxed out their financial aid or left MVCC short of graduating to complete their studies by assisting with tuition and fees, less applicable financial aid. Available to students who have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher and need fewer than 12 credits to graduate.
MVCC Core Value Awards (Admissions Awards)
These awards support incoming students who exemplify the very same values that make MVCC the community’s college: Embracing community, modeling the way, inspiring confidence, and encouraging excellence. In addition to having at least a 2.0 GPA, incoming students should demonstrate excellence in at least one core value.
