The best part? This course comes at no cost to students, thanks to SUNY & RADAR grants. Eligible program graduates will receive a $200 stipend along with invaluable employment opportunities. We also provide comprehensive support for developing essential power skills, featuring a diverse group of technology instructors and guest speakers, ensuring you acquire the in-demand skills required for positions in manufacturing and beyond. This course welcomes anyone who is keen on exploring advanced manufacturing, has a knack for math and computers, and is open to support while enjoying the art of making things.
Advance 2 Apprenticeship is offered at Mohawk Valley Community College in partnership with the Strong Center for Developmental Disabilities at the University of Rochester. Our program is designed to increase access to apprenticeship programs, catering to individuals with and without disabilities who may benefit from additional support. We are breaking barriers for neurodiverse learners by employing a universal curriculum design and providing comprehensive support through our disability resource coordinators.
