The IT Support Professional microcredential is designed to prepare students for an entry-level role in IT support. A job in IT can mean in-person or remote help desk work in a small business or at a global company. The microcredential will introduce IT troubleshooting and customer service, networking, operating systems, system administration and security. This microcredential, with integration into the Computer Information Systems program, is designed to prepare for employment in this continuously growing field as well as provide a foundation for further education.
