The MVCC Foundation is responsible for College scholarships available to both incoming freshmen as well as current students. There are more than 135 scholarships available ranging from $100 to full-tuition. Some may be used for books, fees, or other educational expenses. Students are encouraged to review scholarship criteria and apply for any for which they feel they qualify. All students that apply for scholarships must fill out the Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application form with the exception of international students. However, students may also apply for MVCC scholarships regardless of their financial aid eligibility.

All scholarships have specific application criteria including, but not limited to: program of study, GPA, interest and community involvement. For a free scholarship booklet, which lists criteria and application deadlines for all scholarships administered by the MVCC Foundation, please call or stop in the office. Scholarships are also listed on the College’s website: www.mvcc.edu/scholarships.

The office also maintains contact with graduates through publications, email, social media, and special events. It maintains a listing of up-to-date alumni information and welcomes contact from former students.
